Simon And Garfunkel - The Chord Songbook (Paul Simon/Simon & Garfunkel) [Paperback] Review

The book is exactly as advertised but not quite what I expected.It shows a few guitar chords at the top with traditional tab notation, followed by the lyrics with the name of the chord (but not the tabs) over the lyrics.If you can play those few chords, then you can play the song.These are simplified versions of the songs, exactly as advertised.

If you are expecting traditional staff notation for playing along on the piano, it isn't here, even for songs that S&G originally performed on the keyboard.For songs that are guitar songs, you will only get the simplified version, not the full version that they're playing on the albums.I couldn't play the full version on the guitar, so I appreciate the simplification very much, but make sure you want that.
